Yes, Lymestone is around 10–15 minutes’ walk to the town centre, just a short walk to the promenade and is close to cafés, shops, and scenic coastal paths.
Yes, all rooms, suites and apartments at Lymestone feature modern en-suite facilities, including walk-in showers, soft towels, and complimentary toiletries.
Although we don’t offer breakfast at Lymestone, we encourage guests to enjoy the wonderful independent cafés in Grange-over-Sands. There is so much choice, and all are just a short walk away, serving everything from freshly baked pastries to some of the best Cumbrian breakfasts around!
If you prefer a more leisurely morning, there are also local grocery stores nearby where you can pick up pastries, fruit, or other essentials to enjoy at your own pace. All our rooms, suites, and apartments include a fridge, so storing breakfast items and other essentials is never a problem.

Lymestone is a beautiful Victorian building, and because of its original design it may not be suitable for all guests with limited mobility. However, we do offer two options with easier access:
Cartmel Cove Room has a private entrance directly from the car park, with just one step to navigate inside the room.
Lilac Cottage also has a private entrance from the car park and offers step-free access into the apartment.

We offer a 7-day cancellation policy when you book directly with us, giving you the most flexibility. This means you can cancel up to 7 days before arrival without charge.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Cartmel Cove room and the Lilac cottage options but you must inform us that you are bringing your furry friend before arrival.
Grange-over-Sands railway station is around 10 minutes’ walk or a short taxi ride from Lymestone.
