Tucked just behind Grange-over-Sands, Eggerslack Wood and Hampsfell Hill offer a peaceful escape into nature right from the edge of town. The ancient woodland is rich with wildlife, winding paths and dappled light, leading up to open fellside with sweeping views across Morecambe Bay and the distant Lakeland peaks. At the summit stands the Hampsfell Hospice, a unique stone shelter built in the 19th century, providing one of the best panoramic viewpoints in the area.
